Disappointing
The hotel itself has potential but needs significant improvements. The room is spacious and convenient, but there are issues with the water temperature—it fluctuates between hot and cold. The pool is great, and the temperature is comfortable. However, it's located next to a busy road, so don’t expect a quiet time while relaxing there.
The breakfast is appalling and far from what a 4 star hotel should offer. It’s more in line with what you’d find at a 1-2 star hotel. The orange juice is just diluted syrup, the croissants are stale, the jam is processed, and the cooked eggs are cold. The reception staff is friendly, but there is a significant language barrier. A concierge should be able to communicate in English. There is a book with activity and sightseeing recommendations, but it's entirely in Thai, making it useless for non-Thai-speaking guests. The room key card randomly stops working. I had to go to reception multiple times to have it reactivated. The staff is kind, but it’s clear that the owner is not actively involved in managing the hotel. Some employees listen to their own music while serving guests, and others wear their uniforms improperly, such as wearing their hotel work caps backwards. When you request housekeeping, they only make the bed and empty the bins—they don’t refill the soap, change the sheets, or clean the bathroom. I had to specifically ask for the soap dispenser to be refilled. The mattress is extremely firm, and the pillow is too high, which can cause discomfort, especially for long-term stays. As I mentioned, the hotel has potential, but it requires many improvements—all of which are fixable
